Hugo de jesus Alves, born August 17, 1975 in Antwerp, Belgium, is a painter. He works primarily freehand and uses acrylic and paint markers as his preferred techniques. His creations are distinguished by the use of neon flash colors, angular strokes and broad movements. The works are characterized by a style of patchwork that does not conform to current artistic canons, although they are inspired by characters from popular culture. From outside the cube, he performed an aesthetic restoration action on one of the walls of the glass cube of the charity "Viva for Life." He created a custom-made racing helmet for Formula E driver Stoffel Vandoorne. The latter, crowned world champion, wore the said helmet during two major events that took place in London....
